Certified Close Protection Specialist

How do I become certified?
In order to become an I.A.P.P.A Certified Close Protection Specialist the applicant must have successfully graduated from four of the five available modules of the I.A.P.P.A resident training program. 

Module 1; Basic Foundation of Protection, (7 Days)

Module 2; Dynamics of Close Protection Driving, (4 Days) or an alternate acceptable program

Module 3; Close Protection Medical Responder Course, (5 Day) or an alternate acceptable program

Module 4; Close Protection Use of Force, (5 days)

Module 5; Surveillance Detection and Counter Surveillance Operations, (4 Days) or an alternate acceptable program

Candidates must provide the certification board with references and information about past and present clients, training and experience if any.

Candidates must not have been convicted of any criminal offense that would reflect negatively on The Personal Protection Agent profession, I.A.P.P.A, or the certification program.
