What we do

More than a membership association…
Much has changed in the security industry since our first courses were held in North America and Europe in the late 1980´s and much has happened since then. With a physical presence all over the world and with an international team of dedicated certified instructors and security consultants we can offer our expertise and know-how to clients from a variety of industries.

Our highly experienced instructors have many years of hands-on experience from the law enforcement community, the armed forces and the international security industry this enables us to design courses and workshops in topics ranging from executive protection training,  event management to retail loss prevention and conflict resolution.

We offer our assistance to clients that are in need of physical security services such as executive protection or special event security. We serve as security consultants and advisors on topics ranging from travel security to workplace violence prevention procedures during employee layoffs.

Some of our associate are currently (2013) involved in law enforcement training in the Middle East (U.A.E), executive protection training programs in North America (U.S.A and Canada), workplace violence prevention and security training programs in Scandinavia (North Europe) and retail loss prevention in South East Asia just to mention a few of the things that we are involved in.

I.A.P.P.A has developed a new line of personal protection agent courses, seminars and training programs. We are offering some of the most advanced protective training products and concepts in association with our regional partners and associates.

We continue to certify security professionals from all over the world that are involved in specialized close protection operations through our certified close protection agent program. Since 2010 the I.A.P.P.A certification has been offered to members of the United States Navy and Army as part of their respective credentialing opportunities online (COOL)  programs. In 2012 the CCPA program was also introduced to individuals from the pakistani security industry. With the release of the CCPA in Pakistan, security professionals will have the opportunity to improve their skills and resumes.

I.A.P.P.A has obtained a large number of references from past (and present) clients over the past 20 years including government and corporate clients worldwide. Amongst theses are: National Police Services in Europe and the Middle East, private sector security businesses in the USA, Europe, Asia and the Middle East and several INGO’s (International Nongovernmental Organizations) and last but not least clients from the private sector including the entertainment and hospitality industry.
